    An enchanting Hamburg trip

It’s been a while since I posted something but I thought I’d share this sketch of the observatory in Hamburg Bergedorf. I visited it for a telescope meeting that took place along with the @lndmhh and it is absolutely worth the visit from all the telescopes right up to a library full of astronomical books 😍😍😍 Sadly we couldn’t show more than a few stars but it was still cool to talk with people who came to visit.

    Too warm to do anything…

Too warm to do anything… at least more than putting your feet into a pool and maybe paint 😂 Honestly, while I enjoy summer, if it gets too warm for a longer period of time my body just wants to chill. This journal spread is from last summer when I just did that and sat outside with friends.

This year it’s similar but I’m also prepping some things behind the scenes. If you want to know more, make sure to sign up for my newsletter to be the first to know what I’m up to.

    Urban sketching a channel scene

Last weekend I met with a friend and since the weather was warm and sunny, we sat down to sketch a channel close to the ‚Kunsthalle Emden‘. I really need to practise sketching water more but I think it got okay. When I reached the tree on the left side I couldn’t sit anymore so I didn’t have the patience to put a lot of details in 😅 But aside of that I’m pleased how it turned out.

Back in Oldenburg we tried to sketch for 10 minutes. But… the alarm didn’t go off so it was more like 15 minutes 😂 I colored it later with some of my favorite watercolors.
