This painting was one of the first ones I made with watercolor ink and it just had to be part of the collection as an HII-region where molecular hydrogen forms stars in the span of millions of years.
Painting #04 in my collection “The light within”. Watercolor ink and acrylic ink on 150 g/m² Khadi cotton rag deckle-edge paper, acid free. Available for purchase on Etsy.
About the collection
The whole collection is called “The light within” because these vast clouds of molecular hydrogen are stellar nurseries. New stars are formed and the remainders of dust are blown away. Only then we are able to see the newformed star in visible light. The collection is a reminder that sometimes we might not be able to see the changes in us and others. But once the dust vanishes, a new light will emerge and shine bright.
